In Ground Swimming Pool
Cape Vincent’s only property with a pool. Our salt water, heated, 20 by 44 pool will keep everyone happy! Also located next to the pool is a gazebo with a table and chairs. Operated seasonally, open Memorial Day to mid-September.
Kitchen
Our kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, tableware, silverware, salt & pepper and cleaning supplies. As part of the Cape Vincent Municipal Water District, we offer fresh, safe drinking water.
Bathroom
Bathrooms contain shower, sink and toilet. Cottages #12, #13, #23, #24, #25, #28 and Owner’s Apartment and all Vacation Homes have bathtubs with showers.
Living Area
All rentals offer comfortable seating arrangement. Most cottages contain a sofa-bed for additional sleeping options. See individual cottage pages for specifics. All rentals have its own private deck with picnic table and outdoor chairs.
Grilling
Each accommodation is equipped with an outdoor gas barbeque grill; we provide the propane.
Dockage
Protected dockage available for guests and must be reserved in advance. Boat launch facilities are available nearby.
Kayak & Canoe Rentals
We offer single sit on top kayaks, 2-person kayaks, youth kayaks and a 2-person canoe. These can be rented in advance or day of.
Fishing
All guests are welcome to fish from our docks and have access to fish cleaning stations. Fishing gear is not provided.
Cable TV
All cottages and vacation homes include TV with cable service.
Internet
All cottages and vacation homes have wireless internet access.
Heat & Air
All cottages have both air conditioning and heat. Vacation homes #15, #16, #17, #18, #19, #20 & #21 and our Clayton & Deluxe home have central air and heat.
Details
Beds are made ready for arrival, including linens, blankets & pillows. Guests are responsible for bath towels (exception Clayton Home) and pool towels, toiletries and paper products.
Recreation
The property offers horseshoe pits, volleyball & shuffleboard courts, a children’s play area, along with kayak and canoe rentals and a fishing pier.
Gift Shop
We have a gift shop located inside our office. Apparel for the whole family, souvenirs, drinkware, kid’s toys, beach towels & more.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. At check out, guests are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy state. All dishes should be washed, dried, and put away; trash and recycling should be put in the trash and recycling area, any open food should be taken with you or discarded, sweeping and vacuuming done and gas grill cleaned. Please do not make the beds you used – we will wash the bedding and re-make the beds. You may choose not to do the requested cleaning, in which case we charge a housekeeping fee of $50 per cottage ($100 for vacation homes #17, #18, #19, $200 for vacation homes #15, #16, #20, #21 and Clayton Home and $300 for Deluxe vacation home).
Coin Laundry
We offer coin operated washers & dryers, located near the office. Because these are new high efficiency machines, we provide the required high efficiency laundry detergent at no charge. Please note – guests are required to use the provided laundry detergent. This is seasonal – laundry is open May through October. Alternatively, there is a laundry mat located in the village of Cape Vincent at 112 E Broadway St.
Pets
Sorry, we do not allow pets, however, we can provide you with contacts for local kennels.
Smoking
All cottages are non-smoking. Guests are requested to smoke outdoors, not inside the cottages. Smoking is prohibited in common areas including at the pool and children’s play here. Please respect the property and safely dispose of cigarette butts in proper recceptacles. Failure to comply with non-smoking polices will result in an additional charge.
Pre-payment & Cancellation Policy
Option 1: 50% pre-payment. Rental pre-payments are non-refundable. If you must cancel, we will try to find another guest to take over your reservation. If we do re-rent it, we will deduct a handling fee equal to one night’s stay from your pre-payment and issue you a refund of the balance. No refund will be issued if your rental remains vacant. Refunds are never issued on one or two-night stay reservations.
Option 2: Worry Free Booking. Worry-Free Bookings™ provides a reimbursement due to unforeseen circumstances – terms and conditions can be found at the links below. An additional fee is automatically added to your reservation – you may opt in/out of these safeguards by checking/unchecking the boxes of any or all of the 3 options when making your reservation. Worry Free reservations will be automatically charged the remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival date
