Cottages

Each of our rental cottages and our Clayton home are fully equipped, and ready for your stay. Since purchasing Angel Rock in March 1997, we have made extensive improvements, renovating every cottage plus building several new cottages.  We have also made the overall property comfortable and appealing with perennial flower beds, in in ground heated pool, a campfire area, a volleyball court and horseshoes pits. Onsite activities include a fishing pier, a swimming area and rental of two kayaks, a pedal boat, and a 16 foot aluminum boat with 9.9 HP Yamaha engine.

Five Bedroom Cottages...

There are two to choose from - opening in May 2012!

- These five-bedroom cottages (homes, actually), include a beautiful open kitchen done in pine and oak and comfortable furnishings. There are St. Lawrence River views from the upper level and a large deck equipped with an outdoor gas grill, a picnic table and Adirondack chairs.  Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and plenty of storage space for your belongings. The large dining room will seat 10 and there are three full bathrooms and a washer and dryer.  The cottage also offers central air conditioning, heat, electric fireplace, TV with cable service and wireless internet access.  This cottage, located in our new in-ground pool area, is one of our eight comfortable winterized cottages which are open for rental on a year round basis. It is best suited for 10 people, and will accommodate a maximum of 12 people.

Three Bedroom Cottages...

There are nine to choose from!

- Cottages #1 and #2 are both located directly on the river front. Each has a double bed in each bedroom and a sleeper sofa or futon in the living area. These cottages, along with our riverfront and dock area are reached by stairs.

- Cottage #3 is located halfway down the hillside and has an exceptional river view, plus the extra nice features of queen size beds and air conditioning. This cottages, along with our riverfront and dock area are reached by stairs.

- Cottages #5, #10 and #11 are located along the crest of our hillside and offer the same upscale features and view as #3.  These three cottages are winterized for year round rentals.

- Cottages #12 and #13 are our best cottages yet - these upscale waterfront cottages have air conditioning, queen sized beds plus dishwashers and bathtubs - and exceptional water views. These cottages, along with our riverfront and dock area are reached by stairs.

- Cottage #8 has a double bunk bed in one bedroom and a double bed in each of the other two bedrooms.  This comfortable cottage is garden view, at an economical price.

Two Bedroom Cottages...

There are two available, #4 and #6, both with full river view and large decks. Cottage #4 has a double bed in one bedroom, bunk beds in the other bedroom and a sleeper sofa, and is winterized for year round rental.  Cottage #6 has a double bed in one bedroom and double bunk beds in the other, plus a loveseat/sleeper. One Bedroom Cottages...

Cottage #7 has just had a makeover! This one bedroom cottage has new knotty pine walls and ceiling, stainless appliances and all new furniture. It has a queen bed plus a sofa bed, and offers both heat and air conditioning. It offers a deck with a picnic table and Adirondack style chairs and a limited water view. This cozy cottage is open year round and is best for 2 people, maximum 4. Cottage #14, a one bedroom limited water view cottage, with a queen bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in the living room. Best for 2 people, maximum 4. We also have cottage #9, a one bedroom cottage, offering many sleeping choices. Clayton Home...

Our four bedroom home, located in the village of Clayton, is a beautiful rental property. This lovely home has a large open kitchen with island, and sliding doors leading from the dining room to a large deck and large private yard. 2 full baths, Jacuzzi tub, central air, laminate wood floors, and much, much more. Offering views of the St. Lawrence River or French Bay from most first floor rooms and the deck, yard, and extensive river views from the second story. View Clayton home.

Kitchen

 Our kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, tableware, silverware and cleaning supplies. As part of the Cape Vincent Municipal Water District, we offer good, safe drinking water.

Bathroom

 Bathrooms contain shower, sink and toilet.   Cottages #12,#13,#15, and #16 have bathtubs with showers.

Living area

 Most cottages contain either a futon or sofa-bed for additional sleeping options.  See individual cottage page for specifics.  Each cottage has a deck with picnic table and outdoor chairs.

Grilling

 Each cottage is now equipped with an outdoor gas barbeque grill.

Dockage

 Our protected dockage must be reserved in advance. Boat launch facilities are available nearby.

Boat Rentals

 We offer a 16'  aluminum boat with a 9.9 Hp Yamaha engine. We offer a daily, 3 day or weekly rate.  Boat rentals require a $50 deposit.  Locally, larger boats are available for rental. Check out www.claytonmarina.com to view their runabout and pontoon rentals.

Kayak Rentals

 We offer two single sit on top Kayaks.  These kayaks can be rented for a day or week.  

Pedal Boat Rentals

 We offer a two person Pedal Boat.  This pedal boat can be rented for a day or a week.  

Swimming

 We have a parent supervised St. Lawrence River swimming area and are opening a brand new heated swimming pool.

Fishing

 Everyone is welcome to fish from our docks - bring your own gear.

Cable TV

 All cottages include cable service and TV, many with flat screens.

Internet

 All cottages have hotspot wireless internet access.      

Details

 Beds are made ready for arrival, including linens, blankets & pillows.  Guests are responsible for towels and paper products and are welcome to bring radios. For your spare time entertainment, we offer horseshoe pits, volleyball, a children's play area and assorted board games, along with kayak and pedal boat rentals.

Housekeeping

 Housekeeping services are not provided during your stay.  Guests are expected to leave the cottage and grounds in the same condition as when they arrive, with the exception of making beds & washing linens.  Weekly guests who do not wish to clean the cottage at departure are encouraged to offer a $25 cleaning fee instead.  

Coin Laundry

 We offer coin operated washers & dryers, located near the office.  Because these are new high efficiency machines, we provide the required high efficiency laundry detergent at no charge.  Please note - guests will not be allowed to use their own detergent, therefore anyone with special detergent needs will need to go to the local Laundromat.  This is seasonal - laundry is open May 1 to October 31.   (Cottages #15 and #16 are equipped with washers and dryers, no charge for their usage.)

Pets

 Sorry, we do not allow pets, however, we can provide you with contacts for local kennels.

Smoking

 All cottages are non-smoking.  Guests are requested to smoke outdoors, not inside the cottages.

Deposit
Policy

 50% deposit is due at time of reservation for multiple night stay, 100% deposit is due at time of reservation for one night stay.  Refunds are issued, less handling fee equal to one night's stay, minimum fee $100, only if we are able to rent the cottage to another party.  Therefore - if cancellation is necessary - as much advance notice as possible helps.  (No refunds are issued for cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival.)
