The home was completely renovated in 2007, done with much love by the owner, as it was his family home. No detail was overlooked, from the bronze light fixtures and door handles to the custom iron stairway railing. The home is tastefully decorated with local historic photos and artwork. Local history books along with a variety of paperbacks and games are available for your enjoyment. Upscale features include central air, a Jacuzzi bath, custom hickory cabinets, kitchen island, Corian countertops, wood laminate flooring throughout the downstairs, Berber carpet upstairs, washer/dryer, flat screen TV with cable service, plus wireless internet.

This home is fully equipped for your stay, including dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Each of the four bedrooms has a queen sized bed. Pillows, blankets and linens are provided and beds are freshly made prior to your arrival. Guests need only bring towels, toiletries and paper products.

You’ll have views of the St. Lawrence River, French Bay and French Creek to admire during your stay. Sliding glass doors from both the dining room and master bedroom open onto a large deck and very large, private yard. A sizeable parking area allowing three to four cars is surrounded by beautiful stonework with built-in flower boxes. This home must be seen to be appreciated.

Enjoy all of the amenities of the Clayton area, including the community pool and recreation center, coffee shops, art galleries, unique stores, fitness center, boat tours, museums, kayak and boat rentals, eco-tours, tennis courts, golf courses and a large playground - all within walking distance. Weekend, weekly or monthly rentals are available with a minimum stay of three nights. During summer we require a minimum stay of seven nights.  Rentals in this home are on a Friday to Friday basis, allowing guests to enjoy a full weekend in Clayton for boat shows, special events, weddings and any other event that brings you to the beautiful area.

Notes on floor plans below: During construction, there were a few minor alterations made to the floor plans below - an upstairs closet was relocated, the upstairs bay windows were changed to sliders, downstairs bathroom layout was revised & enlarged by eliminating the pantry and the side entry deck and large back deck were connected with ground level decking.

Summer 2012 (June 30 through August 24, 2012):
We require a minimum one week stay during Summer, reserved on a Thursday to Thursday or Friday to Friday basis.

Minimum stay is 3 nights.
